RESEARCH PARTNERSHIPS

The SHRC pursues collaborative partnerships with basic researchers in perceptual science and signal processing. Center researchers translate knowledge of both the real needs of the hearing impaired and the capabilities of hearing aid technology into the laboratories of university scientists and engineers. Guidance and resources are provided to students for projects on hearing impairment and related technology. The SHRC also pursues collaborative research opportunities and potential technology from other industries and fields that could benefit the hearing impaired.
